    Groups to meet at typical Catalunyan Restaurants for dinner, and preparation
    for the Group presentations.
    Each participant will join one of the following four groups:

    1. Emerging Forces: transformation of Education and how
      Architecture might respond
    2. New Ways of Learning and their implications for learning
      spaces
    3. Reconnecting. Education as an integrating force in
      the life of the local community
    4. Tools of the Trade: Identifying best practice in the
      planning, design and operation of the places for learning

    Thursday June 23 is the eve of the St Juan Festival (June 24) in Barcelona.
    There are bonfires on the beaches and La Ramblas is full of people until
    very late.

    Evening Gaudi Tour
    Architect and designer, Antoni Gaudн i Cornet was at the forefront
    of the Art Nouveau movement in Spain. His work in Barcelona led to the creation
    of some of the city’s most notable landmarks. Gaudн was a pioneer
    in his field using color, texture, and movement in ways never before imagined.
    His works, both finished and uncompleted, stand as testimony to his genius.
