21st Century School Design Symposium: Design for the Creative Age at Capitol Theater at the Riffe Center, July 1, 2010
Sponsored by the Ohio School Facilities Commission, the symposium keynote speaker was Randall Fielding, award winning international architect and coauthor of “The Language of School Design: Design Patterns for 21st Century Schools.” Randall led two days of workshops with 19 school districts and was joined on the third day by Christian Long, educator and passionate advocate for innovative learning communities. The focus question was, “What is a 21st Century Learning Environment, and What Does it Look Like?”
In this video of excerpts from Randall Fielding’s presentation, he gives some answers and examples of how his company, Fielding Nair International, creates these innovative spaces.
