Introduction

Using color theory and spatial clarity as a connection between physical space and art, the architecture of this elementary school reflects the founding principle that arts education is critical to human development. Despite budget restrictions and existing industrial conditions, the community-driven process resulted in a unique, light-filled learning environment.
