Introduction

The school was founded in 1939 and has established itself as a premiere education institution in Singapore over the years. The school is renowned for its holistic education in academic performance, co-curricular activities and values inculcation, creating a strong Chinese school image amongst the community.

The design of the new campus draws on key planning principles of Chinese architecture, respecting its long historical roots. Flexible spatial planning of various facilities also was incorporated, creating a contemporary campus that supports new pedagogy and educational trends. In order to build strong communities within a big school compound, strong emphasis was placed on creating small identifiable communal spaces which the students use to interact and lea
