Commentary:
Due to the nature of the project, costs are dramatically reduced compared to a typical project of this nature. By using the Super Adobe bagging technology, 90% of the massing can be donated earth from another construction site (typically, that construction project would have to pay to have the earth shipped away - however it can be donated to this project instead, mutually beneficial to all parties). The construction skills can be learned by any person and the project will be constructed by the students and local community members as part of a collaborative effort. With 'super construction weekends' when the project will be constructed, all participating families and students will be provided with catered food, hence the 'other costs'.
