Little Elm High School

Introduction

The team’s focus was on a pivotal moment for students - entering ninth grade. This produced a community for freshman is within the high school, allowing students to gradually acclimate to the environment. The simple circulation system saves students time and provides efficient security. The main corridor is a multi-level spine designed wider to serve as a functional space which permits community use after hours. In efforts to conserve the natural beauty designers fit the building to the slope and aligned the flow of circulation to fall naturally across the site.
