Little Village Lawndale High School

Introduction

This new school, the result of a thorough planning process with numerous community meetings, is a 1,400-student community high school serving the Little Village/North Lawndale community. It was innovatively designed to enable four independent schools of 350 students each within one building, sharing only those facilities whose use can serve both the community and each of the schools’ populations. Each school focuses on a distinct theme: social justice; math, science and technology; and the arts.
