Commentary:
In lieu of creating a 4th high school, the school district passed a bond issue to construct a facility which would house the district’s career/technical programs. This approach decreased enrollment pressure at the existing buildings and created greater value for the district through the formation of new instructional avenues as well as partnerships with local colleges/universities and corporate partners.
