Millbrook Elementary School

Introduction

This elementary school was programmed and designed with maximum energy-efficient and sustainable features. The result is substantial energy savings that translate into more funding for books and programs; healthier learning environments; protection of the environment; and support of the local economy and community values. Also, the sustainable design elements of the school are 3D teaching tools. By making them visually available to students, the designers have created a school where students can learn about energy savings and become more environmentally aware.
