New Salina Elementary School

Introduction

This new elementary school hosts 600 pre-school through third grade students. Facing the residential neighborhood, it screens the industrial zone beyond. Outside, window niches scoop into broad, flat facades converting industrial scale to residential. Inside, students enjoy large, flexible classrooms in playful geometric plan forms with colorful interior surfaces.
