Poquoson Elementary

Introduction

The school will house 675 students in grades 3-5. Three, two-story grade-level houses are each organized around large-group instruction areas. The school, which is adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay, is pursuing LEED gold certification. Both building and site model ecological systems and encourage students to be good stewards of the environment.
