The new school (not pictured) will occupy the north-western portion of a site occupied by the current elementary school (to be demolished). A stone’s throw from the Chesapeake Bay, the site is bordered by tidal wetlands. The new school will be oriented to control natural light and maximize views to the Bay beyond.
