Rainwater cascades off the articulated scupper projecting beyond the library’s covered porch, serving as the well-spring for constructed wetlands that filter stormwater running to Bennet Creek and the Bay. A boardwalk carries students over the wetlands to a learning laboratory beyond where they can study native flora and fauna in a natural setting.
