Elevations

Top: Corridor elevation: Three elements at or around the ENTRY boldly announce the library: the entry door, and the display vitrines. Together, they convey the image of new and exciting opportunities to learn. On the interior elevation a continuous FRIEZE along the top row of windows, integrates air conditioning equipment and incorporates a semi-permanent display of student drawings of favorite book characters, printed on translucent plexiglass panels. On top of the bookshelf below, a continuous plexiglass protected surface provides space for the display of ongoing student work.
