Thomas L. Wells Public School

Introduction

The school is the first public building to be constructed in the Morningside Heights community, a new suburb with many young families of diverse ethnic background. Conceived as a stimulating, inclusive educational community for kindergarten to grade eight students, it will also be a focus for the community at large. The Gym/General Purpose Room and Library Resource Centre are located and arranged to facilitate public access and extracurricular use. A gracious entry porch extends a sense of welcome to the community and feature windows showcase school activities to those on the street.
